About SGPAtoPercentage.com
SGPAtoPercentage.com is a small set of free tools for Indian students: SGPA to percentage and CGPA to percentage converters, the reverse conversion, and SGPA and CGPA calculators that work from credits and grade points.
How we handle formulas
- Official sources only. A university or board appears in the formula list only if we could read its conversion rule in its own regulations, ordinance, circular or FAQ. The source link, clause and scope are shown with every result. Formulas repeated on other calculator websites don’t count, because they often contradict each other.
- Your grade card wins. If your grade card or university states a different formula, enter it as a custom formula. Both common forms,
a × GPA + band(GPA − x) × y, are supported. - Every answer shows its working, so you can check it or quote it on a form.
- The worked examples are tested. Automated tests check every formula against the examples printed in its official source and on this site.
- Your grades stay on your device. All calculations run in your browser. See the privacy page.
This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any university, school board or the UGC; their names are used only to describe which rule a formula comes from.
